Danielle and Patrick’s wedding was featured back in 2010 but I couldn’t help posting it again, given the time of year and the bride’s timeless sense of style. Happy New Year, y’all!
We were so excited to receive this gorgeous wedding submission from Solas Weddings! Jacqueline and Ricky’s classic Irish manor wedding celebration was a beautiful juxtaposition of modern glamour and natural splendor. The sensuous palette of fallen fruit, centuries old stone, and good old fashioned revelry (not to mention that adorable tiny Spider Man) makes this easily one of our favorite weddings of 2011 – The bride looked absolutely exquisite in her lace illusion neckline Ciara Bridal gown, which she tastefully paired with a white fur stole and birdcage veil by Stacey Hannan Designs for a lavish dose of vintage glam.
Andra and Christopher’s Romanian Orthodox ceremony and backyard wedding reception was filled with a beautiful mix of traditional wedding ritual and casual, contemporary elegance. But we couldn’t overlook Andra’s beautiful custom dress – modeled after a favorite vintage evening gown that belonged to her mother.
Welcome back from the weekend dear readers. Today we’re invited to share in Sarah and Andy’s elegant wedding celebration captured by Brian and Amy of Rogue Art Photography, a husband and wife duo based in Indiana.
Sarah and Andy are teachers so when it came time for the couple to tie the knot, they wanted to plan a stylish affair that reflected their shared profession. Indianapolis’ Marion County Library was the perfect spot.
If you’re just returning to your computer after this weekend’s long holiday, you may have missed the news yesterday about Perfect Bound’ new Bridal Salon Directory. It’s the perfect compliment, we think, to the endless inspiration that has filled the blog thus far. Now, in addition to finding your dream wedding gown, shoes or accessories, you can search for bridal salons in your area that carry the collections you crave.
