Katie and Kyle dated for five years, two of them long distance, before tying the knot in San Clemente this past summer. But as we all know, it’s not the location that creates a memorable military wedding, it’s the uniform. The groom looked his best in his United States Marine Corps Officer Dress Blues uniform, a look that can’t be outdone by even the most stylish black tuxedo. Meanwhile, Katie stole the spotlight, as every bride should, in a knockout strapless wedding gown. As a handmade touch, the bride’s mother-in-law crafted a beaded crystal belt that took this popular Pronovias gown from pretty to positively unforgettable. Just look.
We’re wrapping up the week with a classic Pittsburgh wedding from The Brand Studio. The bride wore J.Crew’s timeless Sophia gown in silk tricotine and her groom wore a tan suit with a navy tie. The bridal party also wore J.Crew, this time in silk chiffon. Each bridesmaid picked a gown that flattered their frame, from Arabelle to Taryn. Carrie’s shoes were Kate Spade and the carried a pink bouquet of bright Gerber daisies. Classic from start to finish.

Amanda and Keyur had inspiration to spare when they were planning their June wedding on Long Island. The couple wanted to honor both their Catholic and Hindu upbringings, so a two part wedding was planned.
