Wedding planning is a hectic, and even hellish time for all brides – but add to the pyre the stress of making your own wedding dress by hand? Plus five bridesmaid dresses? It’s a trial few brides could withstand. But sew-happy Portland bride Suzannah was determined to create her perfect dress piece-by-piece. The result: this gray tulle daydream!
We initially fell in love with this wedding because of the bride’s gorgeous, blush colored gown from designer Carla Zampatti – but we also adore this wedding sophisticated, neutral palette, its fun vintage touches, and its slightly shabby chic vibe. Our joyous bride and groom are Kevin and Holly, an Irish groom and an Australian bride that met and fell in love in London, and now make their home together in Sydney.

You can consider this shopping palette, inspired by this pastel bridal bouquet, a tribute to summer and all the cool weather hues that are currently on sale at your favorite boutique. The couple imagined the trees would be in full bloom for their springtime wedding held at Simon Creek Winery in Door Country, WI. But Mother Nature had something else in mind.
