Lauren’s gorgeous silk shantung and tulle Elizabeth Dye wedding dress so perfectly suits the simple, chic style of her college campus wedding. “I chose my dress buy cialis online without a prescription by Elizabeth Dye because I wanted something non-traditional yet clearly bridal.” says Lauren. “I’m pretty clumsy and I rarely wear dresses so I knew that a ball gown or floor length one would overwhelm me. I wanted to feel like myself on my wedding day but not my jeans-and-a-tank self–My best self that happened to be in a beautiful dress.” A tea length gown also allowed her to show off her adorable Ann Taylor heels.
“It also appealed to me to buy my dress from a small business owner who I met and who designs and sews herself.” Lauren chose designer Elizabeth Dye’s ethereal, tea length “Giselle” gown, which features a breezy, English tulle skirt and sweetheart neckline, and is embellished at the waist with a subtle scalloped Alençon bridal lace detailing. Elizabeth Dye is a Portland-based bridal designer who we’ve had our wedding-obsessed eye on for some time. We think all of her bridal creations are simply sublime! Our bride also purchased her accessories from indie vendors – accessorizing
her dress with a hairpiece from Trulu Couture and a necklace from Etsy. Lauren and her husband Chris were wed on the grounds of her alma mater, Mills College.
