Perfect Bound

Grab your passport. After spending a few minutes with these photos, there’s no way you won’t want to book your own romantic getaway to San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Michelle and Armand live in New Jersey but there was no other place in the world better suited than San Juan when it came time to tie the knot. Between the sun drenched scenery, the romantic resort setting and the retro color palette, this couple pulled off the perfect destination wedding.

Writes Michelle, “We knew we wanted to do a destination wedding because we loved the idea of the beach, the sun, and an intimate wedding weekend with family and friends on a tropical island! Puerto Rico was the perfect place as as the island has both the modern vibe plus the gorgeous historic character especially in Old San Juan. Our inspiration was our venue, La Concha Resort, a modern hotel on a beach. We went with a style that reflected the beauty of the beach (blush pink as sand and tiffany blue as water), but with an added a modern touch of black and grey as contrast.”

Now about that dress…

Michelle picked an organza swirl corseted gown by Henry Roth and paired the dress with heels by Badgley Mischka. The gown featured a beautifully embellishment along the bustline. Michelle’s bridal party wore Amsale bridesmaid dresses in two different shades of pink.
