Did you know blue is one of the most popular colors for bridesmaid dresses? (The gown gallery is filled with stylish brides who picked blue dresses for their bridesmaids–just take a look!) But just because you’ve fallen for the same color as everyone else, it doesn’t mean your bridesmaids need not stand out. Mix and match different hues and cuts, all while sticking to the same color family, and you’ve got yourself the perfect combination of classic with a twist. Plus, you can flatter the varying figures of your entire bridal party, as well as their varied budgets.
Here are six short, blue bridesmaid dresses that mix high and low as well as hue.
Halson Heritage Asymmetric Ruffle Cocktail Dress, $261, via Boutique 1 | 3-D Flower Shift Dress, $100, via Top Shop | Bilberry Dress, $278, via Anthropologie | Richard Nicoll Shirt Cotton-Voile One-Shoulder Dress, $155, via The Outnet | Singing the Blues Dress, $39, via Old Navy

I kind of like the TopShop one – it’s different than what you normally think of for bridesmaids.

I’m loving one-shouldered dresses at the moment; they’re classy enough for church, yet risque enough for a serious party. Great options!
