Patchwork quits are the quintessential metaphor for planning a wedding, don’t you agree? At first glance, it’s total chaos. But when you get closer and focus in on the details, you find out that each patch is quite intentional and carefully placed.

Today’s couple, Christy and Joe, are getting married July 2nd 2011 at the Pearl Hotel in San Diego, Ca. They met online two years ago through a Christian dating service called “ChristianCafe. Christy was just about to give up the Internet all together when Joe “winked” at her. The story only gets better from there, but you’ll have to click here to read the rest.

Shannon Moore of Moore Photography sent over their engagement session photos with a note saying, “It is rare to find a couple so comfortable in front of the camera, I could have photographed them for hours.” How sweet. Clearly they got lost in the moment. Or perhaps they just forgot she was there…
