Perfect Bound

California weddings are always so picturesque, what with those blue skies and bright sunshine and all that. But Cali’s got nothing on Blue Hill at Stone Barns. Just ask Dafna and Michael. They traveled all the way from CA to get married in Tarrytown, New York at Blue Hill at Stone Barns.

Photographer Inbal Sivan, a close friend of the couple’s, photographed the wedding. She’s also responsible for the bride’s pretty Saja wedding gown. Inbal had picked it up to use at a photo shoot and as it turns out, the bride fell is love with it. (How could you not?) Inbal’s husband designed the wedding invitations. Too sweet.

Writes Inbal, “The location was Blue Hill at Stone Barns; where, while the setting is stunning, the real draw is the food – I will never forget that mind-blowing meal. It was great to be so much part of a wedding when I’m usually just a vendor.”

With a setting like this, you’d be silly to force any sort of color palette other than the one found in nature. The bride’s choice of blues and greens for her wedding bouquet, along with that single purple stem on the groom’s lapel, was perfection. Her Saja gown was a lightweight silk chiffon with empire waist and beautiful beaded leaf detailing. Again. Perfect.
