my favorite fashion moments: ever ours

Hi!  Lydia from Ever Ours here!  So very flattered and very grateful to be a guest blogger on Perfect Bound.  Absolutely adore the sophisticated style that Anne-Marie posts here.  So thank you so much for having me!

I was away on vacation in Alaska and had some guest bloggers helping me out.  The theme was Old Musicals and Suzy from Dog ‘N’ Bird found this gorgeous gown from GiGi which would be perfect for a glamorous bride. (photo credit: la belle dame sans dice)

What happens when you have a distinct clear vision of what you want your gown to look like and when you want it to be one of kind.  Take a gown and make it your own, like Celia did. (photo credit: cathryn farnsworth)

Like Celia, the bride wanted to make the gown her own and asked her best friend to help out.  The pop of color and the bustle make this gown so unique. ( photo credit: laura grier of beautiful day photography)

I love when certain brides don’t let traditions get in the way and still end up gorgeously stylish.  Take this LDS bride for example.  Adore her jacket and belt with the gown. (photo credit: jill thomas)

Sometimes I’m all for the dramatic and the glamour, so this gown tickled my wedding princess fancy.  I especially love the back of her gown.  (photo credit: denise bovee)

Going along with the drama and surprising detail, this wedding gown was the classic Grecian with the flowiness but had spectacular details on the shoulders.  The shoes scream “oh my wedding goodness” too. (photo credit: natasja kremers)

I like the little surprises on gowns, for example this one with the ruffles at the bottom of her gown.  Unexpected, but absolutely perfect. (photo credit: max wanger)

The vintage look is in right now.  So this bride’s gown is totally up that alley.  I love that ribbon sash and the puffed sleeves. (photo credit: jagger photography)

I am a COLOSSAL fan of short wedding gowns.  Like I already am 99% sure that’s what I want at my wedding.  So this whimsical fun one is absolutely perfect. (photo credit: ben blood)

Saving one of my favorites for last.  Again, with the short dresses, but this time with sophistication and a touch of posh.  (photo credit: taryn kent)
