Let’s take a little break from our Guest Post Series to indulge in a fine fashion moment of our own.
It’s such a pleasure to welcome back Max and Margaret of Unusually Fine Photography. They were spot on when they suggested D’lynne and Rick’s Boston wedding would be a good fit for Perfect Bound, not only because the bride’s sense of style is near perfect, but because we can never get enough of purple calla lilies. I mean, have you ever seen a more dramatic bridal bouquet? Anyway, D’lynne, whom Max and Margaret call “ridiculously gorgeous,” is not only stunning, she was sweet enough to fill us in on how her wedding day look came together.
D’lynne admitted she’s “never been sold on the idea of a bridal party,” but she was sold on keeping her look classic and incorporating something old, new, borrowed and blue throughout her look. D’lynne’s jewelry, a custom made baroque south sea set of pearls, was a gift from her mother. D’lynne wore a strapless Monique Lhuillier wedding gown from the from the 2010 Bliss Collection, the designer’s newly launched line. The ivory gown had a dropped waist bodice with an organza hand tufted skirt. D’lynne’s gold Stuart Weitzman t-strap heels were adorned with jewels and rhinestones. Her hair and makeup are so perfect, I’m considering chopping my own curls in favor of a chic crop.
Much thanks to Max and Margaret of Unusually Fine Photography for sharing D’lynne and Rick’s wedding with us, and congrats to the happy couple!
