Perfect Bound

When a wedding gown likes this comes around, it’s impossible not to take notice.Thankfully, Brooklyn-based wedding photographer Daniel Krieger was kind enough to share it with us, along with many more to-die for details from Lauren and Dorick’s DUMBO wedding.

The fashionable couple opted for an intimate City Hall wedding and then held a warm and intimate reception the next day.Taking full advantage of the majestic Brooklyn skyline, Daniel was also clearly enamoured with the bride’s ethereal gown. He writes ” I loved the color and the design of Lauren’s gown, particularly the back which was very cool. Dorick had a great casual style about him as well. He looks like a stylish Brooklyner without pushing it over the edge.. a subtle hipness I might call it. When you have a good looking couple who knows how to carry their outfits you know as a photographer you’re going to have an easy time making great photos.” To that I would simply add, when you are fearless with fashion, you never know what’s going to happen.

I love the way Lauren’s red dress seemed to set the mood for the entire night. Red light seems to bounce around every corner of the room.

Lauren and Dorick spent 10 days traveling in Iceland for their honeymoon.  They spent a couple of nights in Reykjavik then rented a four wheel drive to explore the countryside (and its many hot springs and delicious fresh food!)  It was absolutely amazing they said.
