What girl doesn’t love accessories? I always remember back to what Nina Garcia said during her Style Strategy book tour about wearing a piece of jewelry that evokes a particular memory, especially when you want to make a big impression. Of course, there’s no better time to make a big impression than on your wedding day.
Today we welcome back Jordana from Hazelnut Photography who was kind enough to share Candice and Jared’s summer wedding with us. When I caught a glimpse of Candice’s gorgeous bouquet wrap, I knew she was a Perfect Bound kind of girl. Mixing vintage accessories with modern touches, (check out the groom’s sneakers!) Candice certainly did an amazing job of defining her own style strategy.
The bride wore the same pearl necklace and earrings that her mother wore on her wedding day. It’s true that some fashion never goes out of style.
The bride picked purple, another timeless color, to accent the tables, grooms’ tuxedo and floral decor. The overall effect is totally romantic and reminiscent of an era gone by.
The addition of black lace as a table runner and cake decoration is so dramatic! As it turns out, Candice wore a super cute black and white lace dress for her engagement photos. Coincidence or not, I love how she carried through the look to her wedding decor. Talk about a girl who has a killer sense of style.

The crystal jar has safely housed my wedding pearls since 1980 in hopes my daughter would ask to wear them on her wedding day.Candice wore them beautifully! now she will safely keep them and maybe someday my grand daughter…I'am honored! simple pearl's a tradition, Veronica Galvan*
