57 grand bridemaid collection

After falling head over heels for Neetu’s engagement session gown, I informed my husband we needed to make plans for a walk in the park this weekend and he was not to be surprised if I left the house wearing something long, white and with a killer neckline. Fashion lovers with my similar inclination need not look any further than 57 Grand for inspiration when it comes to dressing up and dreaming of all things wedding.

Designed for the quintessential city gal, the 57 Grand bridal collection features modern, stylish, and fun-loving gowns in an endless array of styles and colors. Co-founder Saukok Chu Tiampo is a girl after my own heart. She designs each collection with the philosophy that bridesmaid dresses should and can be worn again and again. I was recently invited to the designer’s showroom for a preview of the newest collection. I left with several favorites in mind.

1. The Mulberry
Oh how I love those shoulders! This gown is garden party perfect and formal enough to dress a black tie bridal party while still retaining a bit of whimsy.

2. The Hudson
This is a favorite for so many reasons. I love the sophisticated neckline and the super-flattering folded waist. This color is another favorite, as it transitions from daytime to evening so very well.

3. The Riverside
If this dress isn’t an instant classic, such a thing surely does not exist. Pick a darker color to extend the drama of this perfectly tailored dress or stick with a lighter color if your wedding is scheduled for springtime.

4. The Madison
Madison Avenue is known for high style and this strapless little number is the very definition of it. Fitted in all the right places, there’s no shortage of ways in which this dress can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.

5. The Waverly
It’s impossible not to fall for this dress given the dramatic draping and flirty hemline.

6. The Beekman
I love the sleek silhouette of this gown. Depending on your personal style, the detachable sash can be worn several different ways in order to bring out your bohemian. PS- This ravishing color is called Grape Juice!

All of the styles featured here come in several styles including a creamy Almond and silvery shade of Sterling that are perfect for the bride. Bridesmaids can choose from colors like Truffle, Lilac, Aquamarine, Orange Sunset and Peacock. Accessories including the Crystie pin (shown above with the Madison dress) and ruffled shoulder straps are also available and area a great way to customize your bridal party.
