a small and stylish elopement in paris, part I

I’m hooked on this intimate Parisian elopement that Audrey and Anthony from One and Only Paris sent over. The couple, Lina and Darren, traveled from Australia to Paris, France to elope. They were married at The American Church in front of a small cluster of friends and from there, traveled hand in hand to the most romantic of all locations.

What I continue to love again and again whenever I look at Audrey and Anthony’s work is the way they tell a story. Can’t you just hear the soft breeze blowing across the apartment as Lina and Darren get ready for their wedding ceremony? Maybe there’s music in the background, their favorite selections from a soundtrack they made specifically for this moment. I love the way Darren helps Lina with her jewelry and the nervous way he waits for her to finish getting dressed. Can’t you feel it? When they arrive at the church, they walk down the aisle together. How utterly romantic.

Lina’s style is eclectic and smart. She had her coat hand tailored in Melbourne. I imagine it will be one of those pieces she wears again and again and again. Her hair is hair is held in place with tiny pearls. No veil, and yet she’s the quintessential blushing bride.

Thanks to the beautiful couple for letting us share these private moments with them. And thanks to Audrey and Anthony, who never fail to take my breath away. More tomorrow!
