an unusually fine engagement session at the franklin

I’m super excited to welcome Margaret and Max of Unusually Fine Photography to Perfect Bound. Margaret and Max are really good at applying a certain fashion sensibility to their work, which we love here at Perfect Bound. Check out their blog and their old-school moving pictures to see tons of great fashion, and oh yeah, amazing photograph!

Unusually Fine is based in New York City which is where Andrew and Sarah had their recent engagement session. Sarah and Andrew will be married in San Diego this autumn. They are both actors living in NYC and are a ridiculous amount of fun, as you can see. The shoot started in The Franklin, a cute boutique hotel, and then the group made their way to Central Park.

I love the playfulness of these photos. They are sweet and stylish and intimate, which isn’t easy to capture all at once! Sara’s houndstooth coat is a classic choice. Well played girl.

There are three other cool couples dying to have Unusually Fine capture their wedding day. (Wouldn’t you?!) Each of them is up for a free wedding session with Unusually Fine, so feel free to vote on your favorite while you’re visiting the blog. I hear it’s going to be chilly today, so don’t leave the house without a coat of your own. Soon we’ll all be in flip flops and floral summer dresses but for now, baby, it’s still cold outside!
