Turbans are taking the mainstream fashion world by storm. When Kate Moss donned a gold turban designed by British milliner Stephen Jones to this year’s Costume Institute Gala, heads turned (and more than a few people protested.) But did brides take notice? Tell me, would you consider wearing a turban on your wedding day? Never mind that Erin Featherston filled her Spring 2008 collection with more than a few gilded head wraps and Prada kicked off the Spring 2007 collection (at right) with a gorgeous display of colorful turbans. For brides to embrace this trend, it may take more than a few turban clad models on the catwalk.

Well…it was fun to consider anyway. I agree ladies. It's a look that is better served on the runway and not the aisle. Thanks for chiming in!
