blogger design challenge: bridesmaid

I’ve asked a few of my new blog friends to help with a little design challenge. No rules, no prize. Just fun. The challenge: Accessorize the following dress to your heart’s content. Shoes, jewelry, hairstyle, handbag. You name it.

I sent them each a photo of the bridesmaids dresses my wedding party and I selected. FYI- I am in LOVE with these dresses. Erica picked the same one in yellow for her wedding. Isn’t it pretty?

First up, Jessie from Zesty Perspective. Jessie’s blog is a mix of the unexpected, so it’s no wonder she selected a trio of items with sharp detail. You gotta love a girl who can mix high fashion with everyday style. Thanks Jessie!

Prada sand satin rhinestone heel pumps via bluefly; $510.00. Xhilaration® Elongated Clutch via Target; $14.99. Freshwater Cultured Pearl Lattice Bracelet with Sterling Silver via BlueNile; $80.

I drool over those Pradas. I’ve been coveting them since I first saw them on the internet. Then I saw them in person…and I have to say, I was not impressed. It made me a little sad.

What a fun challenge for your friends! Sometimes, it’s great to see other’s perspectives on your own wedding details. Especially when you’re so busy looking into every other detail of the wedding! Good luck with your bridesmaid ensembles – I love the dresses!

Love your choice for bridesmaids and Jessica has great taste for all things wonderful! Love it that she chose neutrals to offset the stunning red of the dresses!

Target does have some killer prices, but quality is hit or miss and you have to dig. Payless has a new wedding shoe feature where they custom dye your satin wedding show to match your color and it is only around 30 dollars. They only have 3 styles to choose from so far.
